I was about to type what happened last night, but I guess I was too tired to even think of what I should say. @_@
At first I was clueless on what event I’m going to attend, but as I went there, I realized I was about to participate in a prestigious occasion.
Gintong Parangal is an annual celebration and awarding given to those who have excelled in any field. This is given to Malabon citizens who have done something big, something that can make others set them as role models from that day and beyond. And I’m one of those awardees who accepted the honor. I was like… wow.

I was thinking of posting my latest LSS, but then this previous call just irritated me, leaving me annoyed up to this very moment.
A couple of weeks ago, my grandmother phoned me about having my name enlisted in Gintong Parangal, an award event done every year given to those youth who have accomplished something great for that specific year. Think of it as Meg magazine’s young achievers of the year, only this one granted to Malabon citizens. Anyway, she told me I’m going to receive an award for exemplary academic excellence, and the event is set on September 8. Thinking I had no plans on that day, I accepted her invitation, not that I can decline something from my grandparents anyway, LOL.
So what made me annoyed?
Picking from where I left off, she had called me a few minutes ago, just to tell me the award night is not scheduled for the coming Monday, after all.
Mali pala ako, di pala sa Monday yung Gintong Parangal, it’ll be held tomorrow night, 6pm.
One thing I really hate is the sudden change in schedules. Not only it makes me feel unprepared, but it also forces me to adjust my other activities for it, with this case, I have to drop that important YM conference with the others tomorrow night.
Oh yes, I already ranted about it to my mom, she just said, Okay lang yan, isipin mo na lang pagkakataon yan para makakuha ka ng magandang job opportunity.
With that, I rest my case. Besides, crying like a baby over something like that won’t change the fact that I’m gonna attend that thing anyway. I’ll try adding an update or two tomorrow, and a photo if I get lucky enough.

Okay, this is my… uhh… *counts* seventh blog. No, I’m not starting a world record here. XD
You might wonder, what happened to the other six blogs? Hmm, let’s see…
1. Friendster. The first time Friendster released its first blog feature made me try it. As clueless as I am in blogging like any one else during those times, I was literally posting… copy-pasted materials. Blog quizzes and song lyrics are some, if not all that is to be seen. I think that Friendster blog is still active, although I haven’t updated it in years, and I definitely don’t have any plans on doing so at the moment.
2. Blogger. I had this one running for about two years, with most of the blog entries telling about my college and personal life. This became my first ‘real’ blog, but I was forced to close it down because I kept on putting up stuff that in a way compromised my personal safety. Another reason was WordPress, someone invited me to try it out since it has better features and more flexibility. Well, I think I still agree to that fact since I made this one in the same blog host site.
3. WordPress. My first wordpress account became less focused with my personal life, and has put the limelight on my hobbies instead. It’s not really a bad thing, if you’re after the blog hits, but months after making the blog, I grew tired of updating it because I realized it’s not the blog hits that matter, it’s the content and how you channel your thoughts out that counts. After my blog has shifted to another host site, I gave up on continuing the updates and had the blog closed.
4. SOS Bulletin. Created by Alex Crosse, this blog features mostly about online gaming and anime updates. I’ve been made a staff for mainly Audition updates and guides, but I also post some random thoughts about a game or two, or anything new that I consider ‘worthy’ to be blogged. I’m still giving some blog entries here, although not as frequent as I did during the first months.
5. Multiply. The fact that this site features not only blogging, but also photo and video galleries, songs and calendar of events got me a bit hooked to try it out. The blog is still on the run, but I got tired [again] of updating it due to the lack of ‘ka-Multiply‘ to read or even check my posts. Hahaha!
6. Audition Interview. Recently, I’ve been made a staff member for this small, yet growing group. Audition Interview is a community-centered blog made by Dance Battle Audition players for DBA players. The staff interviews not only the players, but even the Game Masters themselves and sometimes, cover reports during on-ground events. Personally speaking, I’m quite honored to be picked as a staff member, although I’ve only done one interview. Well, at least they say it’s a good start. XD
So, what will make this blog different from the first six? Honestly, I don’t know, but I’m thinking of putting one of everything here. As the blog name states, I’ll be posting my random thoughts, depicting from my likes, dislikes, hobbies, rants, sentimental moments up to my personal life. I dunno if this will end up dead like them, but hey, it’s worth trying again.
And this ends my first blog post. Bow.
